RedBox Video Games

Heard a guy bitching to his girlfriend when he came into the gas station that there was still no CoD Black Ops II in the RedBox located outside the store. It reminded me of the old days when I would go into Hollywood Video or Blockbuster Video to rent a popular video game and the cashier would always tell me that the game(s) haven't been returned by the customer(s) yet and was overdue and most likely wouldn't be and that of course meant the customer(s) would be charged for rental and product replacement. I wish there was GameFly back then! So to the GUY BITCHING, Google --> GameFly!

FLYNN's New Contributor Danny Lujan

I would like to welcome my friend Danny Lujan to Flynn's Arcade Blog as a blog contributor. I've known Danny (8 bit Danny as I call him) for at least 12+ years. Danny is a GameStop manager and a retro gamer and WWE fan like me. I know Danny will be a very good contributor because of his knowledge of video games. I hope you enjoy your time here Danny.

The GameStop EXPO 2012

The GameStop EXPO 2012 that was held in San Antonio Texas was the first time to be open to the public. I think there was a good turnout. Tickets were $35.00 (Free with code) for general admission and $100.00 ($65.00 with code) for VIP. There was tons of swag given out plus some booths had contest for prizes. I got lucky and won a PS3 Deluxe Edition of Catherine towards the end of the day. I was caring so much swag that my shoulders and feet were killing me. They had guest appearances by Terrence C. Carson (voice of Kratos) and Dolph Ziggler (WWE Superstar). In all would I do it again? In the words of Stone Cold Steve Austin "OH HELL YEAH!"
